Kuttabul Memorial Cruise

Seven miles north of Sydney Heads between an already darkening 4 and 4:40 pm on 31st of May 1942, three midget submarines detached themselves from their mother ships and head-ed for Sydney Harbour. The day prior a small Yokosuka float plane had successfully identified the USS CHICAGO anchored in Sydney Harbour and by flying at times as low as 300 metres, had identified and mapped the boom net defences.

Join Fantasea Adventure Cruising as 72 years later to the day, we remember the men who lost their lives when the KUTTABUL was sunk by a torpedo during this audacious attack. A detailed itinerary of the cruise can be found here.
