Located at Hardy Reef, Reefworld is the closest Whitsundays pontoon to the mainland and offers sheltered snorkeling and diving conditions all year round. It boasts the largest number of colourful fish of any Whitsunday reef tour operator, plus thousands of stunning soft and hard corals and different species of marine life.
Look out for turtles, tusk fish, cuttlefish, morays, barracudas, unicorn fish, surgeonfish, angelfish, starfish, feather stars and an incredible range of nudibranchs, flatworms and soft and hard corals, to name but a few.

Getting There
Fantasea’s guests travel to and from Reefworld on a luxury, high-speed, air-conditioned catamaran that provides a smooth, comfortable passage. Our vessels depart daily from Shute Harbour (via Hamilton Island) with courtesy coach connections from mainland Airlie Beach and Hamilton Island accommodation. Guests may also choose the option of a helicopter ride back to Hamilton Island.
During your trip to Reefworld, keep a look out for migrating whales from June to September. Dolphins and turtles are frequently spotted throughout the year.
