Child Safe Commitment Statement

The NRMA is committed to providing safe, respectful and welcoming environments for children.

We have zero tolerance for child harm. The safety and wellbeing of children is a shared responsibility across our organisation and guides how we design services, manage risks, and interact with children and families.

We commit to:

• Putting children’s safety and wellbeing first in our decisions and actions
• Creating environments where children feel safe, listened to and respected
• Expecting all employees, contractors and partners to act in a child safe way
• Providing training, screening and clear behaviour standards for people working with children
• Encouraging children, parents and carers to speak up if they have concerns
• Responding to concerns, complaints and incidents seriously, promptly and appropriately

We respect the role of parents and carers and work openly with families and communities to support child safety.

If someone has a concern or complaint about a child’s safety, we encourage them to speak up. Children, parents and carers can raise concerns with our staff, and we will take them seriously and respond appropriately.
