Since 1977, the Ferrython has been staged on Australia Day. In 2024, Sydney’s beloved ferries will be colourfully dressed in honour of their namesakes – May Gibbs, Catherine Hamlin, Victor Chang and Pemulwuy.

Cheer on your favourite ferry as they compete for honours in the race from Fort Denison, around Shark Island and back to the finish line under the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Bring a picnic and join in the buzz of activity on Sydney Harbour. Cheer on your favourite ferry, dressed to the nines, as they rush for the finishing line under the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Memorable Whale Watching Experience

A Lovely Evening Cruise

"Great deal booked online and a really lovely 1 1/2 hrs cruising the harbour. We enjoyed the outdoor deck upstairs, but the inside area was just beautiful for those who preferred to be inside. Staff were lovely and overall experience was terrific. We were blessed with the weather... would highly recommend!"
